Pinot Noir, in Germany called Spätburgunder, is this fine and elegant grape with loads of glou glou.

In this case its Pinot Noir from Baden by Bernhard Huber from 2000. The vineyard is called Bienenberg and a great place for pinot noir and also chardonnay. This 2000 vintage was bottled in the Magnum, which kept the wine so good for now 17 years. Fresh and elegant, smooth and silky with dark fruit and spices and a lovely touch of aging. Have you tried german Pinot Noir?! and, see the Mouton 1985 lurking on the left.
