In the glass: A ruby-red colour.
On the nose: Full bodied with heat in the nose. An elegant wine with notes of sweet spices, mushrooms and red fruits.
On the palate: The entrance is mineral and delicate, fine velvety tannins, medium minus acidity, full slate and strawberry flavor. The very long aftertaste with some sweet peaks makes you happy to know there is another glass left inside the bottle.
A very complex wine with a great structure and balance. We tasted a bottle of this wine with the same vintage a week ago – color and aftertaste are similar, whereat this time the minerals peak a bit more dominant than last time. This wine is an example of what great wines burgundy can produce and that they can age for a long time, too.
